THE MEDICAL TWILIGHT ZONE
by Gary Tunsky, CNC, ND

There are five conditions that cause poor health. The first three account for approximately 5% of all health problems that plague America. They are:

1. hereditary weakness,
2. congenital deformity, and
3. permanent organ injury.

The remaining 95% of mankind's disease and suffering arises from two conditions over which the principles of a healthy diet and lifestyle have a tremendous effect on overall health and vitality. These conditions are celllular contamination and nutritioinal deficiency. These two conditions never occur separately, they always occur in combination.

As cellular contamination and nutritional deficiencies progress, they place the cells, tissues, organs, systems, and eventually the entire body into a state of stress or Dis -Ease.

This sub-health congestive condition is what I refer to as the "Medical Twilight Zone" where the patient is neither healthy or in a state of acute disease. They are somewhere in between, in a state of Dis -Ease, where a person does not fall into any one of the estimated 50,000 categorized diseases.

In full array of lab assays, MRI, CT Scanning, Immune profiles, and hormonal assessments will show no abnormality in these patients and they will be labeled psychosomatic - hypochondriacs or given a clean bill of health, or worse, given palliative symptom relief pharmaceutical agents which shoves the disease even deeper.

There are over 40 abnormal Dis -Eases that won't register on blood, urine, x-ray, or computerized and magnetic resonance.

Unfortunately, laboratory test are calibrated and limited to acute, severe crisis situatuion, and not Dis -Ease. If you have toxic residue accumulating in the intestines, liver, blood, tissue, and cells then nutritional building elements are not able to penetrate the cell membrane to remove metabolic waste. Metabolic efficeincy and hormone/neurotransmitter synthesis is greatly reduced which manifest symptoms of extreme lethargy, muscle weakness, gastric distention, aches and pains, depression, and memory and concentration problems.

Allopathic physicians are taught that if you can't see it in an x-ray, or lab assays, you can't hear it in a stethoscope, or yu can't feel it in a palpitation, it's not there even though the patient's whole body is in a state of stess or Dis -Ease.

It is estimated that over 75% of the medical doctors office visits are in this medical twilight zone category of chonic fatigue, fibromyalgia, constipation, immune-suppression, mental and auto-immune disorder.

Typical of such disorders are symptoms of headaches, dizziness, nervousness, severe fatigue, flatulence, insomnia, brain fog, diarrhea, joint aches, and a loss of a feeling of well being, which are intelligent warning signals of a healing crisis.

These subjective symptoms cannot be revealed by laboratory analysis, unless they have reached acute degenerative or metabolic disease, nor can they be treated by palliative pharmaceutical agents because these symptoms are indicative of nutritional deficeinces coupled with toxic accumulation from environmental poisons, food contaminants, and toxic beverages, not to mention alcohol, tobacco, sugar, household cleaners, cosmetics, etc.

All medical twilight zone Dis -Eases are endogenous and are body instituted as a responce to a healing crisis.

These built in body-instituted symptoms are misinterpreted as disese when in reality they are the body's effort to eliminate toxins or decaying morbid wastee through the elimination pathways.

Fever, diarrhea, mucous secretions, nasal drippage and excessive perspiring are looked at as unnecessary nusance to the medical field when in fact they are intelligent purging mechanisms to expel toxic debris that have overloaded the elimination and detoxification pathways.

Once the toxic waste residue is excreted, the cells are allowed to respirate, and the body's organs and systems will return to homeostasis or balance.

The Seven Stages of Disease Progression

There are seven stages of disease progressions, which are realy symptoms of body-instituted healing. They are:

1. enervation,
2. intoxication,
3. irritation,
4. inflammation,
5. induration,
6. ulceration, and
7. fungation.

1. ENERVATE: Deprive of nerve, energy, vital force; physical, mental, or moral weakness. Devitalize, and/or weaken.

The first state of disease progression ENERVATION. Its cause can be overeating, drinking, worry, overindulgence in congestive devitalized foods and lifeless contaminated beverages, sugar, salt, coffee, alcohol, tap water, drugs, polluted air, lack of sleep, stress, and stimulants. The result: overall weakness, dpression, and reduced vital energy or strength.

2. INTOXICATION: The second stage of degeneration is INTOXICATION. This results from the abusive acts of stage 1 that slowed the body's ability to eliminat poisons by clogging the detoxificated organs specific to intestines, liver, kidneys, skin, and lymphatic.

Our vital energy is always divided between assimilation and elimination. As more energy is diverted for digestion and stimulation from coffee, alcohol, sugar, tobacco, inorganic substances, and toxic by products that can be eliminated and stored in organs, joints, tissues, and cells, leaving the body intoxicated, sluggish, and weakened. Continued enervation and intoxication leads to susceptible crisis.

3. IRRITATION: Of the three cells is the third stage of disease progression. With the excess of acid forming foods and beverages (i.e. sugar, fried foods, coffee, carbonated beverages, alcohol, red meat, and antibiotics) the body fluid condition develop acidosis, which depletes alkaline reserves.

Normal healthy alkaline:acid ratio of the blood is approximately 80% alkaline and 20% acidic. Normal blood homeostasis is 7.35 pH and urine pH should be anywhere from 6.3 to 6.7.

The body's adaptation response to fight for homeostasis to maintain 7.35 pH is alkaline predominance in the blood.

To neutralize acidic residue formed in the blood stream the body pulls buffering elements such as calcium and magnesium from the teeth, bones, liver and so on, to neutralize deadly acids and preserve life osteoporosis and periodontal diseasee is the result. When the body is too alkaline it will result in gall bladder stress.

4. INFLAMMATION: The fourth stage of disease progression triggers the onset of inflammation, indicative of pestilence c----- toxic accumulation in and around the organ, joints, and cells of the body.

Immune system response to the toxemic condition triggers histamines, prostaglandin e2, bad eiconasoids, monotrienes, and other inflammatory substances in the fight to clean up the congestive toxicosis.

Inflammation is also brought on by stone-like formations in joints, kidneys, and gall bladder, which consist of trapped inorganic substances from impure food, beverages, drugs, etc.

At this point the body's filtration organs are unable to expel the accumulated, hardened waste by the weakened enervated body. A so-called allergy is nothing more than the irritation of an already chronically inflamed nasal passage from a pronounced toxemic condition. Toxemia is the basic cause of all inflammation including the intestinal lining and the epithelial lining in the lungs. This stage of inflammation is characterized by heat, redness, swelling, and pain.

5. INDURATION: The fifth stage of degeneration is when a gradual thickening (hardening) of the mucous and sub-mucous tissues manifests, due to the causes of inflammation unremoved.

The increased levels of hardening due to solidifying compunds specific to hydrogenated foods, calcium, chlorine, iron, saturaed fats, LDL cholesterol, and inorganic minerals chokes arterial circulation, cutting off oxygen (hypoxia) and inhibiting nutrient flow to the cells, giving rise to cell apoptosis, open sores, or ulcers.

Symptoms of indurations include hardening of the arteries, skin eruptions, pustulence, cysts, polyps, liver spots, kidney stones, callused feet, and gall stones.

6. ULCERATION: The sixth stage in disease progression is an active degeneration from cell apoplexy (paralysis of circulatory functions due to tissue and arterial hardening). Instead of normal toxin elimination, excretion of toxic laden mucous (pus) erupts from open wounds, boils, fistulas, internal ulcers, chancre, as in AIDS and herpes simplex); from the eyes, ears, nose, vagina or other body cavities. Another symptom of ulceration is adrenal exhaustion from a highly toxic condition.

7. FUNGATION: The last and final stage of degeneration is fungation (cancer) and is the passive degeneration of the cells from as asphyxiation hastened by poor circulation. In this final stage, there is a cellular disorder from repeated free radical hits on the genetic material damaging DNA during replication, transcription, and translation of the new cell generation inevitably leading to cell proliferation and cell mutation of tissue growth of a morbid. It is a state in which cells no longer renew themselves and form cancerous mutation.

All seven diseases progressive stages are nothing more than the body's effort to return to balance, to purge itself of the unwanted toxins to trigger a healing crisis, medicine call symptoms.
